About Us

Most businesses don't have a marketing problem. They have a strategy problem. They may find themselves posting on social media, sending emails, creating a new offer, tweaking their website, trying Google, boosting the odd Facebook post and wondering why all that activity isn't consistently turning into sales. That's where I come in.

I'm a Strategic Marketing Consultant and Paid Ads Specialist. I work with businesses to work out what is actually going to generate consistent sales, and more importantly, what isn't working, and where they're currently wasting time or money.

Sometimes that means going right back to the strategy; sometimes it's the offer, the messaging, the website or the customer journey that's causing the problem. Sometimes the marketing is doing its job perfectly well, but what's happening afterwards is where the sales are being lost.

For some businesses, they simply need more of the right people to see what they're already doing well. That's where paid advertising comes in.

I manage Meta and Google advertising, but I don't believe ads are magic. They're multipliers. If you put money behind something that isn't working, you'll usually just pay to find out it isn't working faster.

So I look at the bigger picture. Who are you trying to sell to? Why should they choose you? How are they finding you? What happens when they do? Where are people dropping out? What is already generating sales? What are you spending money on that isn't generating a return? And, crucially, can we measure any of it?

My work ranges from strategic consultancy and paid advertising management through to practical marketing training and ongoing support for business owners who want to understand their marketing rather than blindly outsource it.

I work with businesses across a wide range of sectors, including retail and e-commerce, luxury products, jewellery, hospitality, events, professional services, course creators and holistic businesses. Some are small local businesses; others sell nationally across the UK.

What they generally have in common is that they don't need more marketing ''things to do''. They need someone to look at the business commercially and work out what makes sense for *their* business.

I'm based in Somerset and work both locally and across the UK.

My approach is straightforward. I don't believe businesses need to be everywhere, do everything or jump on every new marketing trend. I don't care how impressive the numbers look if they're not contributing to the business.

Visibility is lovely but sales are better!
