HPC Supply Chain Engagement & Site Tour

Join us for a morning of presentations, networking, and a sealed bus tour of the Hinkley Point C site.

This will start at Cannington Court, where local suppliers and the HPC Team and Tier One contractors to explore supply chain opportunities, share experiences, and build valuable connections within the HPC project. Participants will hear from industry representatives, learn from local businesses already working on the project, and the latest updates from Sizewell C.

The event concludes with a guided sealed bus tour of the Hinkley Point C site, providing a unique opportunity to view the scale and progress of the project.

To help ensure as many suppliers as possible can take part, we’re kindly asking each organisation to register only one representative for the event. If additional colleagues sign up, we’ll place them on a reserve list and let you know after registrations close if any spaces are available.

Delegates will be collected from and returned to the HPC Cannington Park & Ride.

​Attendance criteria:

• Attendees must be registered on the Hinkley Point Supply chain portal to attend this event.
• You must not have attended the previous HPC Supply Chain Engagement and Site Tour held on 13^th May 2026.
• Attendees must provide full name (to match ID) and date of birth on registration.
• Criteria for attendance eligibility rests with the Hinkley Supply Chain Team, who’s decision is final.
• Somerset Chamber reserves the right to cancel and refund your booking should you not meet the criteria for this event
• HPC pass holders will not be able to attend the HPC bus tour.

 
What to expect from the day

09:45 - 10:45 - Delegate collection from HPC Cannington Park & Ride  
10:00 - 11:00 - Registration and Networking at Clifford Hall, Cannington Court.
11:00 - 12:30 - Presentations from a number of Key HPC representatives including:

• Andrew Cockcroft, Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Social Impact
• Steve Batten, Head of Commercial, Head of Commercial Conventional Island/Balance of Plant/Turbine Hall
• Local supply chain – Learning from experience
• Andy Edgeworth - Sizewell C Engagement Lead

 12:30 – Working lunch and networking, including HPC supply chain representatives and contractors

Hinkley Point C Site Bus Tour

13:30 – HPC tour participants ID verification by tour guides.
13:45 – Depart Cannington Court for HPC site tour
13:50 – Board bus to Hinkley Point C
14:05 – Arrival at site for guided sealed bus tour
14:55 – Depart site
15:10 – Return to HPC Cannington Park & Ride

Important Information

All delegates must bring photo identification (Current passport or valid photo driving license) matching registration details for verification by tour guides.

To minimise the impact on local residents, all event parking must be at the HPC Cannington Park & Ride, with onward travel to Cannington Court via the minibus shuttle service. Please do not park in Cannington village and walk to the event. Vehicles parked in the village may be required to relocate to the Cannington Park & Ride.  

Bookings for this event will close 4pm Tuesday 6th October 2026 . Please note refunds cannot be made in the event of cancellation after bookings have closed.
