Construction Connections - Feb 2026
We are delighted to be joined by Dowlas Property Group to update on the progress of the restoration of Glastonbury’s historic former tannery buildings on Beckery Old Road. The Grade II-listed Baily’s Buildings are being carefully stabilised and refurbished following planning approval in 2024. Preparatory works have included structural repairs, chimney stabilisation, asbestos removal and ecological mitigation, paving the way for full redevelopment. Supported by investment from the Glastonbury Town Deal, the first phase will transform Building West into high-quality workspace for local businesses, creative industries and community use which will be invaluable to our community.
Please note: Construction Connections attendees are those representing businesses operating in the construction industry. Those who supply goods and/or services to the construction industry are also welcome. Construction Connections is an inclusive event aimed at sharing good practice and making valuable connections (rather than overtly selling), supporting Somerset’s construction industry to thrive. Attendees who supply into the industry are respectfully asked to consider this ethos at Construction Connections.
